1. Examination Pattern for CBCS System (Choice Based Credit System)

Two-Tier Evaluation Scheme

Evaluation of each course contains two components: Internal Assessment and External End-Semester Exam. Internal grades awarded are published on the college notice board at least one week prior to exams. Respective course faculty conduct and evaluate internal components.

Weightage Allocation

20% of marks allotted to each theory paper and 50% of marks allotted to practicals (including lab work & field visits) are reserved for Continuous Internal Assessment as per University of Jammu regulations.

Internal Assessment Carry-Forward Rule

In case of failure or re-appear candidates, the internal assessment marks obtained as a regular student are strictly carried forward to subsequent examinations.

Mandatory 75% Attendance Requirement

Students falling short of 75% attendance in theory or practical lectures will be detained and barred from appearing in university examinations.
